The word “inheritance” is found over 40 times over these last chapters that we read this past week in Joshua

• Israel didn’t purchase or win this land, it was given to the Israelite nation as an inheritance – but it isn’t owned by them… and this is a controversial topic even to this day… fighting over the land inheritance.
• The land grant was given by God to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and then to nation of Israel, but it’s theirs by way of INHERITANCE.
• The word “inherited” means by definition “(of money, property, or a title) received as an heirat the death of the previous holder.”
• Israel’s inheritance is by LEASE only!!!

• It’s worthy noting that the Land covenant is an unconditional covenant….
