The Weekly No. 28

Scripture Reading:  1Samuel 14-24; Psalm 11, 59, 91

This past week in our reading we start seeing the Psalms mixed in with our daily readings.  But first we start off in 1Samuel 14 where we find Jonathan is doing the work that Saul should be doing.  In contrast to his father, he is leading well.  Jonathan and his armor bearer went over to the Philistine garrison.

V6 [read] * The LORD doesn’t NEED people to accomplish His plans… but He does desire to work through those who love Him and have faith.  Talk about a faith moment here for Jonathan.  “for nothing can hinder the LORD from saving by many or by few.”
